A year of Butterfly-iversaries

Obviously there are many awful things that come with the aftermath of losing a baby.  One that especially hurts is the monthly reminder that your baby is missing.  You don’t get to take those “monthly pictures” of your baby on the cute blanket with the numbers as they grow.  However, you can still mark those dates in a way that works for you.

This is an idea that I heard of from a fellow loss mom.

For your baby’s first month birthday I’ll send you a note and 1 Penny Butterfly.
For your baby’s second month birthday I’ll send you a note and 2 Penny Butterflies.
For your baby’s third month birthday I’ll send you a note and 3 Penny Butterflies…
This will continue through 12 months giving you a total of 78 Penny Butterflies!

This can be for you, or it can be a gift sent to another loss family.  I will work with you to customize colors/notes/etc to make sure it fits with your visions.

(It comes out to about $2 a butterfly, which is 50% off.  The cost covers shipping – please choose ‘local pickup’ so you aren’t charged shipping.  If you forget, I’ll just refund you the shipping – at least until I figure out how to shut off the shipping for this listing.)
